Car Rules & Reminders
The most important things to know during your rental. Scan this before you drive.
What you must do
Park in Safe, Private Spaces
Always use private or supervised parking. Damage resulting from negligent or unsafe parking is your responsibility.
File a Police Report After Any Accident
Without a valid Police Report or Court Decision, insurance will not cover the damage. Contact the police immediately — no exceptions.
Return the Car Clean
Wash the vehicle before drop-off. Returning a visibly dirty car will result in a cleaning fee charged to you.
Return Fuel at Pickup Level
Check the gauge before returning — it must match the level at pickup. Each missing litre is charged at €3.00.
Inspect the Car on Pickup
Any undocumented damage found at return is your responsibility. Report pre-existing flaws within 30 minutes of taking the vehicle.
Return on Time
Late returns are charged at 1/3 of the daily rate per hour. Delays beyond a few hours trigger the full daily rate again.
What to avoid — fines apply
No Smoking
€150 fineSmoking inside the vehicle results in an automatic €150 penalty, charged without exception.
No Eating or Drinking
Keep the interior clean. Food and drink residue can lead to a cleaning surcharge at return.
No Unauthorised Drivers
€500 fineOnly drivers listed on the rental contract may drive. Penalty: €500 — plus full loss of insurance coverage.
Paved Roads Only
€200 + repairsOff-road or unpaved driving is strictly prohibited. Penalty: €200 plus full repair costs.
No Cross-Border Travel Without Approval
€200 fineDriving outside Albania requires written authorisation and a Green Card. Unauthorised crossing incurs a €200 penalty.
No Repairs Without Authorisation
Do not repair or modify the vehicle without our written consent. Full repair costs will be charged to you.
