Is there a deposit?
Auto Connect Rental requires zero deposit. There is no pre-authorisation charge on your credit card and no cash hold at pickup. You simply pay the agreed rental fee when you collect the car — in cash, by card, or bank transfer. Nothing is blocked or frozen on your account at any point.
What documents do I need?
To rent a car in Albania you need a valid driving licence — EU licences are accepted directly; non-EU drivers may need an International Driving Permit. You also need a passport or national ID card. No proof of insurance, utility bills, or credit cards are required beyond your payment method.
Can I drive to Montenegro or Greece?
Cross-border travel to neighbouring countries — including Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Greece — is permitted with our vehicles. Simply inform us of your planned route at the time of booking so we can confirm coverage and documentation. Additional cross-border fees may apply depending on the destination country.
What does insurance actually cover?
All rentals include standard third-party liability insurance as required by Albanian law. Full comprehensive coverage with a reduced excess is available as an upgrade. How do I pay?
We accept cash in euros (EUR) or Albanian lek (ALL), debit and credit cards, and bank transfers. Payment is collected on the day of pickup — nothing is charged in advance. The price quoted includes all taxes and fees. There are no surcharges added at the point of collection.
Can I add a child seat or GPS?
Child seats for all age groups, GPS navigation devices, and additional authorised drivers can all be added to your rental. Extras are requested in advance when you submit your quote via WhatsApp or email. Availability is subject to stock. Ask us for current pricing when you make your enquiry.
